#We Serve

“We Serve” signifies the charitable outreach initiatives of the Pretty Picklers.  We are blessed to have been brought together in a fun and healthy activities, and are grateful for the opportunity to give back when we can.

Diva for a Day Foundation, Inc. is a non profit organization founded in 2010 by two friends who recognize the benefits of a day to escape from the daily stresses a woman will face while dealing with cancer. Pretty Picklers has developed a special partnership with Diva for a Day and is devoted to helping the organization thrive through events and promotions with the team.

 

Please help us and Diva for a Day to continue to spread love and joy to all who need it. If you know a deserving Diva who is recently diagnosed, currently in treatment, or less than 6 months out from the completion of their treatment, simply click on the heart below to nominate them for a complete day of pampering at a fabulous full service salon/spa!

Fall 2020

PRETTY PICKLER PINKOUT TOURNAMENT

Benefit Organizations:

  • Diva for a Day - provides a quiet day of beauty, comfort and support for women dealing with cancer.

  • Stella and Dot’s Comfort Care Pouf Campaign – provides comfort care items to women undergoing chemotherapy.

TOMS RIVER PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT

Benefit Organization:

  • A Need We Feed – prepares and delivers hot meals and offers other community outreach programs/services to those in need across Ocean County, NJ.

 

PRETTY PICKLER HALLOWEEN COSTUME TOURNAMENT

Benefit Organization:

  • Agape House - provides emergency shelter and services to homeless families and single women. Group donation of laundry detergent and personal care items.

WESTFIELD PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT

Benefit Organization:

  • Special Olympics - global organization that changes lives by promoting understanding, acceptance and inclusion among people with and without intellectual disabilities.

PRETTY PICKLER INDOOR TOURNAMENT, FLEMINGTON PICKLEBALL CLUB

  • Diva for a Day

PRETTY PICKLER THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE

Benefit Organization:

  • Greater Brunswick Charter School – provides prepared lunches/food pantry for students and families. Group food and monetary donation to sponsor Thanksgiving meals.

 

Winter 2020-2021

PRETTY PICKLER GIFT DRIVE

Benefit Organization:

  • Somerset Hills YMCA Outreach - Christmas Gift Drive

Letters Against Isolation

  • Writing letters to thousands of isolating senior residents of assisted living facilities through out in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, and Israel to brighten their days.

Spring 2021 

  • Tournament to benefit mission trip/orphanage in the Philippines

  • Paddle/ball donation to organization in Newark

  • Tournament to benefit Good Grief

Summer 2021

  • Pet photo contest - raised $600

Fall 2021

  • September 11 - The Great American Pickleball Marathon

  • Diva for a Day Fundraising tournament at FPC - raised over $2,000 for the foundation

  • Susy Smashmouth Breast Cancer Awareness (for Fox Chase)
